The Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking an additional internal medicine physician to join our expanding programs in General Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus and serve as site director for the hospitalist service at that location. The Site Director will be responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of the Hospitalist Program, including oversight of 15 hospitalist physicians and 5 advanced practice clinicians. Other key administrative responsibilities include resolving clinical and operational issues, developing protocols and procedures, advising the program in recruitment and retention, and guiding the program in meeting specified quality/safety and utilization metrics.
