Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Band 6 permanent post (30 hrs per week) on the chemotherapy units. The successful applicant must have experience delivering SACT and must be SACT competent.

Main duties of the job

• Supports the Senior Sister/Clinical Nurse Specialist in the management and organisation of the Haematology/Oncology Unit and the Haematology/Oncology Outpatient clinics.
• To provide a holistic, supportive and coordinated service to all patients at all stages of the care pathway.
• Supports the Haematology/Oncology Unit as a whole, giving cross‑site support and cover where appropriate.
