**Job Description**

The core mission of the Shop Hand is to support the fabrication, painting, and assembly of steel building structures in an industrial manufacturing atmosphere. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to learn a range of tasks necessary for each project scope, including material handling, fabrication work, assembly work, painting, and cleaning. The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Participate in the Quality Assurance Program.
+ Use hand and power tools to clean and prep steel.
+ Handle materials efficiently and safely.
+ Read and understand work orders and project task codes.
+ Mix and prepare paint coatings following proper procedures.
+ Apply paints and coatings according to procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.
