The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, charterers, shipowners, and other industry contacts to develop business opportunities.
• Identifying and negotiating suitable vessels for cargo transportation, while optimizing profit
• Monitoring market trends and developments to provide market insights to clients

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in shipbroking/chartering.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts.
• In-depth knowledge of the shipping market, including market trends and industry regulations.
