The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Risk Management / Auditing or Engineering
At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role within an FMCG manufacturing environment
Extensive knowledge of the OHSAct, DIFR/LTIFR system, ISO 14001, ISO 9000, ISO 45001, Construction Regulations, National Building Regulations, COIDA, relevant SANS Codes
Sound knowledge of Environmental Management Systems
Team player with sound interpersonal skills and strong relationship building ability
Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Ability to influence various stakeholders to follow risk management strategies
Ability to plan, organize, co-ordinate and facilitate
