Electrical Service Technician

Responsible for performing skilled work in the construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized overhead and underground electrical service/secondary lines. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Installing and removing overhead services, connecting and disconnecting overhead and underground service/secondary lines, opening and closing line and transformer fuses and switches, work trouble calls and make emergency repairs on energized secondary and de-energized primary conductors and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years minimum electric distribution service or construction experience required. Must be qualified to work on energized low voltages of up to 600 volts without direct supervision, climb wood poles, operate a bucket truck and perform pole top rescues.
