Service Technician / Agricultural Machinery Engineer

This seasonal contract position is located in Invercargill, New Zealand. Start date: October 2026, contract approximately 6 months. Hourly rate: $40.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault‑finding activities.
• Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and provide effective on‑site support to farming customers.
• Complete workshop‑based repairs and field service work as required.
• Accurately record work completed and maintain service documentation.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company standards.
