Job Summary:
As a Service Engineer, you are a vital player in maintaining FLIR's world-leading position in thermal sensing technologies. You will be a part of the Surveillance Service department comprised of technical professionals and engineers. Even if you are working by yourself, you always have a team that can back you up if you encounter unfamiliar problems and need support to get the appropriate solution. Your focus is post-sale support for high tech cameras, mainly used for military and rescue purposes, often mounted in different airborne vehicles, but also for maritime and land vehicles. You will be highly visible customer support through the performance of the on-site installation, training, and general post-sales support. Your job also takes place in the Teledyne FLIR site, including repairs of complex camera electronics and mechanical equipment, overseeing diagnoses, troubleshooting, and service.
