Position Overview
DUTIES:
- Install, configure, monitor, and upgrade wireless infrastructure, including wireless controllers, network access systems, and guest networks.
- Set up and maintain Wi-Fi access points (WAPs), radios, antennas, routers, switches & servers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, providing level-one, two and three support for wireless systems.
- Conduct wireless site surveys, positioning WAPs, testing coverage, and optimizing network performance.
- Collaborate with IT helpdesk and other technical teams to resolve wireless configuration issues.
- Maintain and secure network environments, radius servers, IP addresses, and client security software.
- Record and maintain user support documentation, configuration backups, and network reports.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on fiber broadband and broadband wireless access equipment.
