Position Overview
Develop and manage strong relationships with clients and brokers across Latin America and Iberia Represent Ageas Re in the market through client visits, conferences, and industry events Build in-depth understanding of regional market dynamics, cedants’ underwriting practices, and competitive landscape Act as a key regional contact and spokesperson for Credit & Bond reinsurance Analyze, evaluate, and underwrite C&B reinsurance submissions, including: Cedant financials and portfolio performance Country, sector, and credit risk Product structure and underlying exposures Negotiate and price complex reinsurance contracts in line with underwriting guidelines Apply strong technical judgement to ensure profitable and disciplined underwriting decisions Contribute to underwriting strategy through market insights and client feedback Support the development of the Latin America and Iberia book of business
