Sr Tool & Die Engineer
The Senior Tool & Die Engineer has overall responsible for the control of all tooling / dies in the Stamping Department (design, development, maintenance, repair & utilization).
Confers with company officials to plan business objectives, develop tooling strategies, and coordinate design & development of tooling with suppliers.Reviews tooling records to determine overall tooling utilization & efficiencies vs. the plan and analyzes data to ensure goals and objectives are set & met.Directs and coordinates programs to determine funding for new tooling.Carries out duties in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.Remain current on saving opportunities and take full advantage of applicable programs.Ensure inventory control and purchase processes are in place and operating properly.
