Job Role / Responsibilities

• Perform clinical tests independently according to the procedure manual on a daily basis to ensure timely preparation of the final reports.
• Assist in teaching/training of junior staff, students and trainees according to guidelines provided and when required.
• Follow and assist the Assistant Manager/Manager/Pathologist in the implementation of safety standards according to Laboratory Safety Manual on a daily basis required for own safety and the safety of others.
• Confirm by discussing unusual findings with the Charge Technologist as and when required to avoid misleading or erroneous results.
• Participate in internal and external quality control surveys periodically for continuing education to keep abreast with the latest developments.
