IT Network Design Engineer (Physical Infrastructure)

Location: Imazium, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. Division: BTS‑IS Global Data Center / Physical Infrastructure Services.

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Abbott’s global IT physical infrastructure environments. You will provide technical leadership and Level III support for hosting and infrastructure platforms across Abbott sites worldwide, including acquisition and divestiture activities.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and engineer IT physical infrastructure solutions, including low‑voltage and fiber cabling, electrical systems, UPS, HVAC, security, and external infrastructure supporting LAN, WAN, and Voice platforms.
• Support implementation and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure environments, including mechanical, electrical, and life‑safety systems.
