Position Overview
Plan, co-ordinate, manage & monitor the engineering designs and drawings related to Hydropower projects components such as Powerhouse, Intake & Outlet Structures, Water Tunnels, etc.Design of powerhouse structures, involving turbine foundations, substructure, superstructure, Control Block and Gantry Beam.Lead design review including interfaces with Electromechanical Contractor.Preparing Design Calculations taking into account the different construction stages of Powerhouse.Responsible for producing a compliant, constructible design in accordance with requirements of Client, Operation, Maintenance and Construction.Making recommendations, identify alternative solutions and optimization opportunities that could impact the design and site operations, based on the strategy determined.Preparation of the monthly activity reports.Prepare Design Basis Reports (DBR), calculation notes, GA and RC detailing drawings.Respon...
