A 12 months secondment position as become available on the Multi-speciality Assessment Unit(MSAU) for a band 6, senior staff nurse. 

The Multi Specialism Assessment Unit is a Nurse-led unit with 16 beds including a 6 bed Crisis Assessment Unit(CAU) for mental health patients. Our nurses also cover the Surgical Same day emergency care. MSAU takes patients directly from ED and GPs. Our length of stay is 8hours.

You must be committed to the trust values and our own values of delivering high standards of care to patients, developing junior staff to their full potential and creating a culture of teamwork and feedback.

You must have ample experience of being Nurse in Charge and understand bed management and flow through the emergency floor.
