Position Overview
**MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE**
+ Provide nutrition science expertise in product innovation, messaging development, and scientific substantiation of Abbott brand products, particularly those designed for diabetes management.
+ Partner with clinical scientists to conceptualize and design clinical studies to evaluate safety and efficacy of new ingredients and nutritional products, supporting product claims and regulatory submissions.
+ Educate both internal and external audiences on the science behind the products
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provide nutrition science expertise for product innovation, including innovation pipeline, new product development and reformulations.
+ Responsible for the scientific substantiation of messaging and claims for Adult Nutrition (AN) products, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and global consistency.
