Our client in the FMCG manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Raw Materials Management professional for a vacancy in their Diep River plant, reporting to the Raw Materials and Packaging Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities Recommending and implementing cost-effective improvements in the department. Forecasting of all Raw Material, Masterbatch & packaging requirements. Monitoring supplier deliveries daily & general supplier performance. Ensuring that the raw materials are distributed on time and correctly to production departments. Monitoring slow-moving and dead stock. Ensuring stock is handled correctly and all spillages and breakages are reported. Conducting cycle counting and monthly and yearly stock counts.
