Position Overview
Provision of commercial, contractual and financial management support on projects and to the business to ensure project profit objectives and targets are met, and cash is managed to maximize cash performance all in accordance with the company and group processes & procedures.
Responsibilities - Sole responsibility for a project or a number of smaller projects
- All Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, valuation and agreement of work sections.
- Preparation of interim applications for payment and internal valuations.
- Issue enquiries, receive quotations, and evaluate for the sub‑contract trade where required post‑tender, prepare a detailed comparison of the quality of the items and the price quoted by them, obtain the CM's approval and appoint the appropriate sub‑contractors in line with company trading terms and conditions
- Preparation of procurement schedules, monitoring of progress and advice on critical issues.
