- Oversee and manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring cost control and value for money - Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. - Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. - Identify and mitigate potential financial risks associated with projects. - Manage the procurement process, including the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers. - Conduct regular valuations of work in progress and prepare interim and final payment applications. - Provide accurate and timely cost reports and financial statements to senior management. - Ensure all work complies with relevant legal, regulatory, and company standards. - Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors and other team members. - Other responsibilities as needed
