Job Purpose:
Responsible for purchasing technical goods, materials, and services for industrial and heavy machinery operations while ensuring cost savings, quality improvement, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase materials, components, and services as per quality, cost, and delivery targets
Ensure continuous supply and resolve supplier-related issues
Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead time, and quality with suppliers
Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement activities
Analyze quotations, BOMs, and technical drawings
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
Coordinate with vendors for quality and continuous improvement
Prepare sourcing reports and supplier performance reviews
