The Robotics and Autonomous Systems Department at the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore, invites applications for a principal research scientist position. We are seeking candidates with passion to conduct R&D and System Integration in Embodied AI with focus on Data Engine to scale and automate data collection, processing, ingest, discovery and governance for Robotic Foundation Model trainingand delivery.

The successful candidate(s) job scope would include leading and overseeing a team in the development of the data engine to automate the data collection and related processes including methods to augment the data to speed up data collection effort, engaging organizations to provide data or to collect data and researchers to use the data as well as other stakeholders and securing collaboration and future R&D resources.
