Summary
This role oversees the work of others who coordinate shipment according to customer instructions (SOP’s), and ensures compliance to DOT regulations and established internal policies and guidelines. Will also be responsible for providing solutions in resolving transportation issues and inquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure dispatch teams works effectively and in a manner that optimizes service levels on every shipment executedEnsure that dispatch errors are immediately picked up, and proper corrective action is undertaken to mitigate recurrence.Act as escalation point for branch teams, related to any serviceResolve internal cross-team conflicts and escalate unresolved issues to next management levelDevelop and maintain relationships with key partners.Ensure Vendor performance is exceptional, manage Vendor visits & QBR reviews...
