Position Overview
*SUMMARY*
The primary purpose of the* Senior Neurophysiology Technologist* position is to perform advanced neurophysiology testing and coordinate laboratory activities. The role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
The* Ideal candidate* demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and a multidisciplinary clinical team, including physicians, medical specialists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Performs neurophysiology tests including electroencephalographs (EEGs), intra-operative monitoring (IOMs), electromyographys (EMGs) and evoked potentials.
* Maintains statistical data.
* Participates in the development of new procedures.
* Prepares and conducts in-service training sessions for section.
* Participates in rotation on taking call.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
