Senior Network Engineer

Onsite M-F | Austin, TX | Contract


Robert Half is partnering with an Austin-based company to hire a Senior Network Engineer (6-month contract). This role will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise network solutions across a growing organization.


Responsibilities:

+ Develops, maintains, and documents network architecture drawings

+ Designs and configures network routers and switches (Juniper)

+ Evaluates emerging network technologies to ensure continued performance and scalability

+ Installs and configures network hardware (LAN switches, Wi-Fi, and Palo Alto firewalls)

+ Ensures equipment is up to date with new firmware releases

+ Oversees RCA analysis and reporting

+ Provides onsite, hands-on network technical support (through work orders and tickets)
