POSITION OVERVIEW

24Solutions is seeking highly skilled MTU Generator Technicians to support Vodacom MTX, BSC, Core Network and Mission Critical Telecommunications Facilities nationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding, repair, commissioning and emergency support of MTU-powered standby and prime power generators ranging from 800kVA to 2500kVA. The technician will operate within strict SLA environments where power availability directly impacts telecommunications network uptime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Generator Maintenance

• Perform scheduled Type A, B and C preventative maintenance.
• Conduct OEM-compliant servicing of MTU diesel engines.
• Perform oil, coolant, fuel and air system maintenance.
