Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee all aspects of the mining operation, including production, safety, budgeting, and personnel management
– Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
– Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
– Manage a team of supervisors, engineers, and operators to achieve production targets
– Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure smooth operations
– Report regularly to senior management on production, safety, and financial performance
– Identify and implement improvements to process and equipment to increase productivity and profitability
– Develop and mentor junior staff members to facilitate career growth and succession planning
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field
