About The Role Finmo is hiring a Senior Merchant Onboarding Specialist to take ownership of our merchant onboarding and KYB lifecycle. This is an active, ownership role that spans compliance, risk, and operations.
Key Responsibilities - 1. End to end Merchant Onboarding
- Own and drive KYB onboarding from submission through assessment to decision.
- Break down business models quickly and identify real risk.
- Map ownership structures, identify UBOs, and validate legitimacy of businesses.
- Make clear, defensible onboarding decisions – not just escalation.
- Own outcomes, not just processes.
- 2. Risk-based Decisioning
- Take ownership of merchant risk approvals within delegated authority.
- Support and contribute to high-risk Enhanced Due Diligence reviews.
