Why This Role Matters
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will support BESIX Environment’s projects focused on sewage treatment plants and water infrastructure. The role is responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems and process equipment are technically compliant, operationally reliable, and cost-efficient throughout tendering and project development phases.
What You’ll Drive
Review and validate mechanical designs and specifications prepared by consultants, licensors, and EPC partners.Coordinate major wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, blowers, aeration systems, sludge handling systems, piping networks, and auxiliaries.Support preparation of technical specifications, datasheets, equipment sizing, and layouts.Prepare and review BOQs, CAPEX estimates, and pricing strategies during tendering stages.Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compr...
