Join Glencore's Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on engineering assessment, design, and project management.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will report to the Superintendent of Smelter and Mill Engineering. With at least 8 years of experience in an industrial environment, the engineer will lead a team and manage approximately 15 to 25 complex projects annually. Effective communication and leadership will drive operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and design engineering projects with a focus on cost control
• Manage project planning and execution from design to commissioning
• Provide leadership to professional and technical staff on site
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards
