Reporting to the Director of Marine Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the leadership, hands-on guidance and optimization of the Terminal Performance, Scheduling and Regional Coordination Committee teams. Accountable for problem resolution with the Terminals and other counterparties within and outside the company. Maintains regular contacts with Network Execution, Stowage Planning, and Terminal Operators ensuring the most cost-effective and timely management of vessel operations. Monitors terminal operations to ensure work is flowing in accordance with defined processes. Focal point for emergency response and security issues at the port. Represents Hapag-Lloyd interests at various committee meetings, where required. Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and cost control.
