Supports WOG efforts in strengthen community engagement and community responsiveness
Develops, reviews and implements policies, plans, systems and schemes on Emergency Preparedness (EP) to enhance PA/GROs’ capabilities and readiness in responding to emergencies
Co‑creates, facilitates and co‑ordinates projects and programmes with GROs, volunteers and community partners to enhance their community involvement, engagement, preparedness and response for emergencies.
Widens residents’ outreach and deepens engagement through EP programmes and active collaboration with partners.

Develops and establishes doctrine, policies, plans, EOP, SOP and systems to support EP and coordinates nationwide community emergency responses (e.g. haze, dengue, communal tension, infectious disease, fire, chemical incident etc)
