Position Overview
Key Responsibilities Draft, prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, notices, pleadings, and court documents. Manage litigation matters from inception to finalization. Prepare and file High Court and Magistrates’ Court documents in accordance with court rules and procedures. Maintain and manage legal files, records, and documentation. Liaise professionally with clients, attorneys, advocates, sheriffs, correspondents, and court officials. Monitor court deadlines and ensure timely filing and service of documents. Prepare monthly bills of cost and assist with fee collection processes. Manage diaries, appointments, and scheduling of consultations and court appearances. Perform general administrative and secretarial duties within the Litigation Department. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all legal documentation and correspondence.
