Brief Description

he successful candidate must meet the following criteria to be appointed: 1.Be able to teach planning theory, comparative planning systems and development economics/basic economics/local economic development. Having experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: municipal governance; urban management and land use planning and management. 2.Undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching experience.3.Undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching experience.4.Capacity to supervise research reports at a tertiary level or candidate planners, preferably should have a record of research supervision at honours and master’s level.5.Evidence of organisational and/or leadership skills: experience of mentoring students and transformation into institutions of higher learning will be an advantage.6.Good ICT skills, especially the ability to navigate the terrain of online learning will be an advantage..7.Evidence of course or programme coordinati...
