Position Overview
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead 1D thermodynamic simulation across concept definition, pre-development, and full development phases.Develop, correlate, and validate engine models using experimental and test bench data.Define and assess engine concepts, supporting their transition to design and prototype stages.Analyze future regulations and evaluate their impact on powertrain architecture and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (combustion, CFD, mechanical design, cranktrain, testing, fuels).Support integrated 1Dā3D simulation workflows for combustion and air path development.Contribute to fuel modelling and knock prediction activities.Support valvetrain and cam profile development.Apply Design of Experiments (DoE) for system optimization.Perform vehicle-level studies (energy balance, lap time sensitivity).Provide technic...
