Geotechnical Engineer Core Responsibilities
- Perform/Plan subsurface investigations including borings, test pits, and sampling, preparation and review of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports with core experiences in tunnels- NATM and or TBM. Conversant with Rail/Road tunnels Geotechnical aspects.
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions using lab and field data
- Design shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, and slope stabilization systems
- Conduct geotechnical modeling using software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or Rocscience for deep excavations, slopes and tunnels.
- Provide engineering recommendations and risk assessments for construction sites
