**Overview**

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide support to the finance team in the US Trade Books division. This position is the perfect opportunity for someone who likes to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment!

This is a hybrid role based in NYC.

**Responsibilities**

+ Develops the monthly forecasts and the annual budget analysis.
+ Assists in the monthly financial close: analyzes results, including variance reconciliation, generates reports and initiates journal entries.
+ Coordinates and manages the preparation of the monthly metrics memos/presentations.
+ Researches and analyzes title financial information.
+ Helps facilitate the title P&L acquisition process, assists editorial staff in preparing and understanding P&Ls, and provides ad hoc support with P&Ls.
