Hybrid working – Bristol office once per week

The Senior Financial Accountant sits within the Financial Control team as part of the wider Bupa Dental Care Finance function. The role is responsible for managing the Bupa Dental balance sheet, cashflow and month‑end submission process.

The role also supports both external and internal audits, statutory accounts preparation and works closely with the Bupa Tax team on corporation tax and VAT matters. In addition, the Senior Financial Accountant provides professional oversight, advice and guidance to two Financial Accountants.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the month‑end close in line with agreed timelines, including management of the balance sheet, cashflow, IFRS submissions and Solvency II quarterly requirements.
