SENIOR FIBRE OPTIC SPLICER / SUPERVISOR - TELECOMMUNICATIONS (NELSPRUIT)

An established telecommunications company is seeking an experienced Senior Fibre Optic Splicer / Supervisor to oversee fibre installations, maintenance, fault finding, and restoration projects. The role includes supervising field technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, managing reporting requirements, and supporting network operations in the field.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ fibre optic splicing experience
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience essential
• Strong OTDR and OLTS testing experience
• Experience with fibre fault finding and restoration
• Ability to supervise and coordinate multiple technicians
• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle required for travel to and from the office
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work standby and after-hours when required
