About Department and Purpose of the Position
To provide administrative and operational support to two divisions in the Department of Surgery, with focus on process improvement, workflow optimisation, and adoption of digital tools and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Report Management & Workflow Optimisation
- Coordinate, track, and process medical report requests from the Medical Records Office (MRO), ensuring completion within required turnaround times.
- Implement and maintain tracking systems (e.g. dashboards, automation tools) to improve visibility and reduce delays.
- Analyse bottlenecks and introduce process improvements and automation (e.g. reminders, tracking logs) to streamline follow-ups with clinicians.
