The Senior Estimator scrutinizes incoming inquiries, evaluates all technical issues, prepares estimates of the costs for the execution of the works, submits proposals to clients and negotiates terms and conditions with the clients to contract award. The Senior Estimator has extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, costs and engineering principles. The Senior Estimator will directly organize and manage a diverse multi-disciplined team of Estimators and support staff. The Senior Estimator will estimate the cost of self-perform work and project indirect costs, review cost estimates prepared by team members, while managing Skanska’s risk.
