Position Overview
Due to my client’s business expansion, they are seeking a Senior Estimator. As a Senior Estimator, you will be working on civil engineering tenders, developing precise and competitive estimates for projects involving roads, sewers, drainage, utilities, and reinforced concrete structures.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:
Review tender requirements, focusing on scope of works, attending site visits and collaborating with the Bid and Operational Support Teams, coordinating with Estimating Buyer on material costs and subcontractor quotes.Support the Estimators and Junior members of the team in preparing and comparing detailed subcontractor pricing packages.Submit technical queries to clients for tender clarity and review client pricing schedules to ensure alignment with scope.Conduct take-offs as needed for Bill of Quantities or Activity Schedules.Prepare estimates for in-house work and assess subcontracto...
