Position Overview

The Equipment Manufacturing team at Seagate is responsible for the build, assembly, testing, and delivery of advanced manufacturing equipment that supports Seagate’s HDD production and technology development.

We work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure equipment is delivered on time, to specification, and at the highest quality standards, enabling successful factory ramp and product innovation.
About the role - you will:
Lead quality planning and assurance for new product introductions, process transfers, and manufacturing operations.

Drive implementation and continuous improvement of AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans).

Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and CAPA.

Establish and monitor key quality metrics and trends to support data‑driven decision making.
