Senior Engineer - IP Transport Architecture & Strategy

The role reports to the Senior Director – Group Strategy, Engineering, and Innovation (GSEI) / Network Transmission. The Senior Engineer contributes to the definition and evolution of Singtel Group’s IP Transport architecture, supporting the development of standards, roadmaps, and reference designs. The role works closely with domain architects, OpCos, and vendors to ensure architectural alignment, technical soundness, and smooth implementation across a multi-vendor environment.

The role focuses on both architectural design and practical implementation considerations, supporting the migration from legacy transport networks toward modern IP architectures, including Segment Routing (SR-MPLS / SRv6), EVPN, automation, and controller‑based networking models.
