Senior Engineer – Electrical Power Systems Analysis in the Electrical Systems function at Rolls‑Royce SMR.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and interrogate electrical power system models for complex HV and LV networks.
• Carry out power system studies including load flow, short‑circuit and transient analysis.
• Interpret and apply analysis results to inform and justify design decisions.
• Support development of electrical system architectures and single line diagrams.
• Produce high‑quality technical reports, calculations and presentations.
• Support requirements definition, verification planning and technical review activities.
• Apply engineering lifecycle processes to ensure design maturity and quality.
• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support continuous improvement of analysis methods and modelling capability.
