Senior Engineer / Analyst – Civil & Structural

Location: Hybrid working. Primary office will be at one of the following locations: Derby, Warrington, Manchester.

Role Overview

Senior engineering role within the Reactor Island Civil & Structural team, reporting to the team leader. Responsible for leading development and delivery of structural analysis activities, supporting the design and substantiation of critical reactor structures and contributing to the overall safety case for the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution and interpretation of finite element analysis models to support structural design and substantiation.
• Define analysis approaches, including model fidelity, to address complex structural behaviours and loading conditions.
