The Senior Director, Hospital Operations collaborates on strategic planning, developing goals and objectives, and priority setting for areas of responsibility that support the emergent care, transport and patient transitions. Accountability for developing and establishing a strategic vision and implementing initiatives that achieve optimal patient flow across the care continuum. Assumes 24-hour accountability for the delivery of professional care and the allocation of resources for the assigned areas of responsibility. Partners with multidisciplinary teams and is responsible for transport and patient flow metrics, productivity/outcome measures, and adherence to professional practice standards for appropriate roles.
