Senior Design Engineer

The Role 

Lead the Engineering department and provide support to Operations as well as ensuring that the Company considers and applies, where applicable, latest engineering techniques and technology.

Main Responsibilities 

• Target, manage, motivate and evaluate the performance of all direct reports. To take remedial action as agreed. To inform HR of any training needs.

• Ensure the team delivers innovative designs/solutions from concept through to production within the agreed budgetary controls and timeframes.

• Ensure that the Company produces products and designs to the highest standard of quality including all safety critical items being adequately checked and controlled.
