Position Overview
Responsibilities - Design, build, and optimize streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Manage schema evolution, data contracts, and dbt-based ELT workflows.
- Tune BigQuery performance and optimize resource usage.
- Define and advocate for scalable data storage and processing patterns.
- Implement testing and monitoring frameworks to ensure data accuracy.
- Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with BI, Product, and Platform teams to develop decision-driving data models.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements - 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Strong command of SQL and Python.
- Proven experience with GCP data tools including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
