**Description**



Performs a variety of CT procedures for diagnostic purposes in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. Instructs and prepares patients of any age group for CT scan procedures by interviewing patients, in detail, regarding medical history. Able to push, pull and lift 50lbs as required to perform daily activities. Obtains signed consent for procedure. Assist Radiologist in sterile procedures such as biopsies, drainage, aspirations, and facet injections. Participates in call back and weekend rotation as needed. Responsible for special projects i.e. protocol management, protocol education and training of staff and students, software upgrade assistance, representation on special committees, etc. Assists with creating and finalizing staff work schedules.
