What this job involves: We are looking for a Senior Cost Manager responsible for managing all post-contract commercial aspects of construction projects. The role involves cost control, contract administration, and providing commercial advice to ensure project financial objectives are met.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Help with post-contract commercial management of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget
- Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Analyze and negotiate contractual claims, providing recommendations to minimize financial risk
- Perform detailed cost analysis and reporting, tracking project costs against budgets
- Administer construction contracts in accordance with applicable standards (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.)
